Financial Counselling

Financial Counselling: Credit & Debt Service

We provide free assistance for anyone who is experiencing financial difficulties, or is in dispute with a financial service provider in relation to loans or other credit contracts, or is being sued for a debt.  We can give advice about your options and advocate for you if necessary.

 

Our services include:

  • Giving information and support to help you advocate for yourself
  • Informing you of your rights, obligations and options in relation to debt recovery, bankruptcy and other relevant consumer credit laws.

We can provide information sessions and workshops on credit and debt matters to community and consumer groups upon request.
