Welcome to the Illawarra Legal Centre website.

The Illawarra Legal Centre is a member of the National Association of Community legal Centres (NACLC) and is based in Warrawong, a southern suburb of Wollongong.

The Illawarra Legal Centre:

1.Provides free legal advice and assistance in the following areas:

- general law

- tenancy

- welfare rights

- financial counselling

2. Supports young people at Port Kembla Children's Court through the Children's Court Assistance Scheme

3. Undertakes community legal education activities such as writing fact sheets, pamphlets and booklets, and providing workshops and training sessions.

4. Undertakes law reform activities.
