Volunteering Opportunities

The Illawarra Legal Centre is run by a volunteer management committee.  If you are interested in being part of the management committee please contact the Centre Coordinator.

Once a week, volunteer solicitors staff an evening advice session.  At present solicitors are rostered on approximately 3 to 4 times a year.  If you are interested in being part of the volunteer team, please contact the Principal Solicitor.

From time to time we have other volunteers undertaking projects or activities.  Volunteers will not replace paid staff members and the Centre acknowledges its obligation to seek funding to pay for work which is normally undertaken by paid staff.

The work given to volunteers will offer the volunteer personal satisfaction, potential development of skills, active promotion of a cause and/or recognition of volunteer effort.

If you are interested in volunteering, please send in a resume and outline the extent of the volunteer or work experience you are seeking.
